We did it!! Andrew and I got on our bikes on Clapham Common in London and..... despite mechanical failings (wobbly handlebars), witnessing two crashes, seeing several people carted off in ambulances, getting bucketed on during the 1.6mile climb up the South Downs (which Andrew did without putting a foot on the floor - impressive!) and stopping at endless traffic lights.... got off our bikes on Brighton sea front 54 miles later. We didn't break any records but we have smashed our fund raising target so thank you to all who donated. And if you haven't yet, there's still time.
