Teens Unite supports young people fighting cancer to live their best life, while others search for a cure. We inspire young people to recognise their potential now and in the future and empower them to live every moment to the full. When you're faced with cancer, plenty of people will tell you what you can't do, but we show these young people what they can do; not letting the 'c' word hold them back or define who they are.

Dr Alex and myself signed up to this challenge to raise money for what is a fantastic charity - doing great work for teenagers suffering with cancer in the UK, supporting them to live their life. 

We have been friends for nearly 10 years since starting medical school and have both always been keen on staying fit. After graduating as doctors and completing our foundation programme, we have both been working in emergency medicine and the opportunity to work as expedition medics and take part in this challenge is something we both jumped at. 

This last few months we have been training hard and we are very much looking forward to seeing some of the beautiful sights India has to offer and acting as part of the expedition medical team - ensuring that all those taking part stay fit and healthy as well as raising awareness for a great charity.
