Story

What is the Macmillan 4x4 Challenge?

The Challenge is a navigation event spread out over 2 nights and 2 days, starting on the evening of Friday 7th March and ending on the evening of Sunday 9th March. Over the course of the event competitors are expected to drive up to 1,000 miles on a point to point basis, on and off road, with no prior knowledge of where they are going. All they will have is an Ordinance Survey map and cyptic directions to the next checkpoint.

The aim of the event.

The aim of the event is to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Cancer is a problem that will affect many of us, either directly of through a loved one or friend. Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. They provide practical, medical, emotional and financial support and push for better cancer care.

How you can help

You can help those affected by making a donation to Team Number 8, Team Terrain. I am driving this event next year with the backing of the company I work for, Terrain Vehicles. My navigator and co-pilot is even flying in from Florida to take part in the event! Through this web page you can donate funds to this great cause. Even a few pounds can make a difference. You have it in your power to help someone. Please dig deep.
