In memory of Terry Skeels

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
This June my brother, Phil, my husband, Dan, and I will be taking part in a challenge in memory of my Father, who passed away in July 2011. Please take a moment to read my story here:

My Dad was a keen walker (providing there were sufficient pub stops along the way!) and loved photography and the beauty of the countryside. So we are taking part in The Three Peaks National Challenge, where we will walk the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours, raising money for Thrombosis UK.
We travel to Glasgow on the morning of Saturday 11th June, starting with Ben Nevis on the Saturday afternoon. Then on to climb Scafell Pike through the night and finish with the final mountain, Snowdon, in the early hours of Sunday morning, aiming to complete the challenge by Sunday afternoon.
In addition to this, the following month Phil will be taking on the very ambitious challenge of cycling solo from Land's End to John o'Groats! The total distance on his chosen route is around 960 miles and he will aim to complete the challenge in eight days. Far from being a keen cyclist, he has chosen this challenge as a way of pushing himself way beyond anything he’s ever done before. All with the aim of raising the most we possibly can for Thrombosis UK and with the motivation of doing this for Dad.
