Myeloma UK is the only organisation in the UK dealing exclusively with myeloma. We make it possible to live longer and better lives with myeloma. Through research and treatments, we find new ways to a cure. Together, we are the cure.

Story

Well, tonight is the night for full unveiling after an interesting day at work.... I am ny able to add a few photos to the site, so for those that will want to see more, visit me on facebook. If we are not yet chums, then add me. You have earned that honour just by looking at this page!
Much love
As we careen rapidly toward the date of de-hairing, I feel I should indicate the purpose and reason behind this taking place and what Multiple Myeloma is, which I will do - though I do not want to go to heavily into it.... Put simply, Multiple myeloma is cancer of the plasma cells in bone marrow.

The reason for my choosing this charity and committing to this event is in honour of a very dear fri...end of mine, who lost her father to Mutiple Myeloma. After she recently got engaged, she has given me one of the greatest honours of my life and me to give her away at the wedding!

For me saying yes to this honour it simply not enough, so a suitable tribute is the very least i can do. Hence the Terry Nutkins... err "ceremony".

As mentioned before, there will be photos uploaded on to the website: www.justgiving.com/terrys-wig so regardless of donation or attendance, please check this out to laugh at me, but also to spread awareness.
To add to this spectacle, the Landlord of the Duke of Cornwall public house and Notts County legend, David Smith has agreed de-hair his top lip!!! For those that are familiar with the man himself will realise that this is also quite a head turning happening!! There are rumours, though yet unconfirmed of a pestigious performance by none other than DJ Furzy!

Gracias!

I would like to formally announce my plans to conduct a special I would like to formally announce my plans to conduct a special event on 17 February. The charity will be Myeloma UK.

For those that know me, they will know that my thinning locks have been contributing to my vikingesque appearance for some time. Well sadly Samson is giving up his power...

On Friday 17th February, I will conduct an event, so wittily entitled "a day in the wig of Terry Nutkins" which will basically involve me spending a day at work and then the evening in the Duke of Cornwall on Ivybridge. How is this any different from usual you may well ask...
Of course, there is more... I will be shaving the top of my scalp leaving only flowing locks around the sides!!! All day at work and all night in the pub.

Donations of any amount will be appreciated, though even if you don't donate, spreading awareness of this grand event, will not only promote my night of charitable idiocy, but also spread awareness of Multiple Myeloma. I would encourage all to visit their webpage at www.myeloma.org.uk/.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
If you are local, show your face and have a ruddy good laugh at me!!!! If you are not, keep an eye on the page for photos etc and news. But please all consider even the slightest donation to worthy cause!!!
