I want to make a difference to young adults with learning disabilities lives. Imagine how unfair you would find things if you were not allowed to go out of the house, or meet up with friends without your mum coming along, or being able to wander down to the shops to buy something with your money. Imagine if you couldn't arrange to go out to the cinema or have an impromptu gathering with friends or even to go to the local pub, life may seem a bit of an uphill struggle. Well that's what it is like for many of these young adults but with the help of THINK18 they will make a difference. The charity is going to start up a social club and activities for these young adults and guess what, mum won't have to watch over them. Think18 are going to find out what things their adults want to do and make it happen, in a safe environment.
