On 24th October 2019, in line with Avison Young's Global dAY of Giving, the London Business Rates team has decided to walk a marathon (26.12 miles) along the Thames Path. We will start at HMS Belfast at 7am and finish at Hampton Court just before it gets dark... (hopefully!)

We will be undertaking this walk to raise valuable funds for both UCLH – Haematology Cancer Care and West Hertfordshire Hospital (Haematology Department). These are charities which are close to all our hearts, and have done tremendous work for Julian over recent years.

Avison Young will be awarding the charities a grant of £5,000 and with all of your generous donations, we are hoping to double this.

This walk will require a lot of determination and be extremely hard work, not least because there are only 10 hours of daylight in late October!

Family, Friends and Pets are more than welcome to come and join in or support. Celebrity Dog, Harvey the Bernese, will be showing his face and spurring us all on!

Please do give generously and we will be sure to share plenty of pictures to show the fun (& no doubt pain) we will all go through on the day!
