Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Sweeney, Bradshaw, Buskie, Forrest, Wooley crew is taking on the Heaton Park Challenge! All 13 of us have decided to pick up our trainers and do the Heaton Park run in aid of two charities which are very special to us.  The first is a wonderful charity set up by Rosalie Sweeney 17 years ago called The Haven. This fantastic charity offers a programme of support to any patient who has been given a life-limiting diagnosis, designed to help those individuals cope with the physical, emotional and practical aspects of their illness. Support is offered to people of all ages, including children and to all family members and carers.

The second charity we are supporting is the Westerhaven.

Both of these causes are very important to us so we truly appreciate any support you can give us.

Running the 5km will be Oliver Sweeney, Billy Sweeney and Austin Bradshaw. The 10km challenge is being taken on by Sineaid Bradshaw, Siobhan Sweeney, Andrew Forrest, Kandise Sweeney, Brian Sweeney, Keiran Sweeney and Emma Wooley and the half-marathon racers will be Roisin Sweeney, David Buskie and Brendan Sweeney.  What a team!
