Lottie (u11 Girls) and her father Tim are aiming to cycle & walk 260km over the next 26 days to help raise funds for Burton RFC. Like all UK's Charities fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic and Burton RFC is no exception. 

With no games being played and off-field events cancelled the club has lost its usual income stream.This year we have lost £26,000 because of coronavirus so we are raising money to reduce this loss and help our club’s future survival, especially as the club heads into its 150th Anniversary Season.

Collectively the members of the club we are aiming to walk/cycle/run 12658 km from Burton to Cape Town over the next 26 days to raise much needed funds. 

Why Capetown ? It’s a special place for Burton RFC. For the last 3 years we have welcomed players from Cape Town who have been part of our rugby playing community and in return young people from Burton RFC have gone to Cape Town on rugby exchange to embrace new cultures and skills.
