We have walked the Pendle Way in a day!! On 7th July, we walked at least 45 miles walking the complete Pendle Way in Lancashire. We wanted to do something to challenge our physical capabilities whilst raising money for a good cause and this was the 1st of our challenges.

Our chosen charity is Rett UK, which has affected Baz's family as Sophie T is living with Rett Syndrome. This is an X-linked dominant neurological disorder that affects only girls and is one of the most common causes of mental retardation in females. Girls with the syndrome show normal development during the first 6-18 months of life followed first by a period of stagnation and then by rapid regression in motor and language skills. Those being challenged by Rett Syndrome kept us going on our long walk, which took 17 hrs, starting at 6am and completing at 11pm. We would really appreciate any donation you can make, which will help Rett UK with their important work.
