Claire was diagnosed with Diabetes at the age of 7. She unfortunately was diagnosed with various other Endocrine problems including Addison's disease which meant she spent a lot of time in hospital.

She continued to attend hospital on a regular basis with frequent admissions for various illnesses. In 2008 she was diagnosed with a blood disorder called HUS/TTP. This condition left Claire requiring Kidney dialysis and Plasmapheresis which she dealt with as best she could. Sadly, on 16th October 08 Claire passed away peacefully with all her family around her. She was just 23 years old and would have been 24 on 8th November.

Claire was a very funny outgoing girl who loved to shop, watch TV and have fun with her nephew. Although she spent a lot of time in hospital she was a strong willed character who knew her own mind. She made a huge impact on the lives of everyone she met.

She will be very sadly missed by all of her family especially her mum, twin sister, younger sister and nephew.
