Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page.

After a very brave battle, Richard lost his fight against covid and passed away on the 7th April 2021.

He was a truly genuine and generous man, always with a smile on his face with a wicked sense of humour who was immensely proud of his family and the successful business he had built.

Running "The Flowersmith's London" was his life's work, also being involved in many other projects. Meeting many people along the way, Richards circle of friends grew and grew and so we've decided to create this page so that friends and family can show their support in memory of Richard.

His passion and vitality for life were infectious, he had the biggest heart and was generous to a fault.

A close family friend Joe Knaggs was diagnosed with Fibrous Dysplaysia at the age of 7 and has been living with it for 20 years.

We want to continue Richard's generous spirit and his support for those close to him and make sure that his memory will have a positive impact for those who deal with Fibrous Displaysia.

The fibrous dysplaysia support society aims are:

  • Raising awareness of Fibrous Dysplasia & McCune-Albright Syndrome and offering guidance to those affected by the condition.
  • Promoting & contributing to Research into Fibrous Dysplasia & McCune-Albright Syndrome.
  • Finding Specialists who know about Fibrous Dysplasia and McCune-Albright Syndrome around the UK.
  • Establish Support for Fibrous Dysplasia & McCune-Albright Syndrome patients and families.
Thank you,
Richard's Family.
