We are a small team taking part in the Beaverbrooks Blackpool 10K Fun Run & Manchester to Blackpool bike ride over the next few months to raise money for the Blue Skies Hospitals Fund. 

Our aim is to raise as much money as we can to buy much needed items for the Haematology ward at Blackpool Victoria Hospital treating patients with blood cancer. As the majority of patients on this ward are receiving treatment over long periods of time, we thought it would be a nice idea to buy items which will make the stay more comfortable for both the patients and their visitors. As some of our team members have a close family member currently receiving treatment on this ward, it is especially close to our hearts. 

We are liasing with the patient commitee on this ward to find out exactly which items they would like us to purchase, so we can guarantee the money you donate will benefit the patients directly.
