Highland Cross is a 50 mile duathlon (walking or running 20 miles and cycling 30 miles) across Scotland from Kintail to Beauly. The event is organised by volunteers to raise funds for charities across the Highlands. Since 1983, over £6.3m has been raised and distributed in full to deserving causes.

We're delighted to be joining a few hundred other folk to brave the epic West to East route (see pic above for route detail) from Kintail to Beauly through the stunning Glen Affric, it's a tough course and we really appreciate your support and we'd be so grateful for any donation you can make to Highland Cross :)

The charities benefiting from Highland Cross each year differ and for 2019 they are:

Birchwood Highland - mental health recovery provider

Cantraybridge Collegefurther education college for young adults with additional support needs

New Start Highland - tackling poverty, homelessness and long term unemployment

Puffin Hydrotherapy Pool - hydrotherapy for all ages

Special Needs Action Project (SNAP) - leisure and recreation opportunities for young people, who all have substantial special needs
