.The Crusade of the Kemplars
Following in the footsteps of the Templar Knights a millennium ago, the Kemplars are a group of 3 intrepid, if rotund, mid life cyclists riding from the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea. From Aquitaine to the Languedoc; through the rolling vineyards of Bordeaux and the fecund and fruitful fields of the Toulouse plain, to the magnificent castles of the Cathar Country, these 3 magnificent athletes will cover over 350 miles in a week. All in the cause of helping Kemp raise the 940,000 pounds a year it needs to continue to provide support it does for so many people.
