Dawn and I are women who appreciate our hair and the ability to wear make-up.  Both of us know how much better we feel when our hair looks good or how a great lipstick can lift our mood.  So we wanted to do something to support women through effects of cancer treatment - such as hair loss.  

As so often is the case these days, we both know women who have suffered the negative effects of treatment.  Some have survived, some have not.  By running hair and make up events we hope to help raise awareness and provide funds for on-going support and help by this fantastic organisation.
