Welcome to The Mongolance Crew! On 24th July 2010 we will leaving the UK on a 12,000 mile adventure with the aim to donate our Ambulance to a Charity in Mongolia.

Whilst we fully support the work of Mercy Corps in Mongolia and recognise the value of the work they do, we have decided that once we have raised £1000 for them all further donations will go to Cancer Research UK. Hopefully everyone already recognises the importance of this charity, they rely on donations from events such as ours to proceed with their ongoing endeavour to improve cancer treatment technology. Currently a staggering 1 in 3 people in the UK will be affected by Cancer at some point in their lifetime. With this in mind we will be trying to raise as much as possible for this charity. Currently our target is £5000 but if we can beat this then all the better!

In the meantime we will be appearing in some local West Country papers shortly, and also generating a kit list of items we will need to take with us which will allow us to complete the journey.

These items will be auctioned off to locals in Ulaan Batar (Mongolia) and proceeds given to our nominated charity.
