Story

On the 12th April 2015, Hannan, Abbi, Kazna, Diane, Lena, Madalene, Yasar, Yousif, Yaseen and Mansoor are attempting to run the Sheffield Half Marathon. They would like to thank you for taking the time to visit their JustGiving page.

'We like running and are getting a bit better at it, so we thought it would be great to sign up for the Sheffield Half Marathon and raise money for Palestine at the same time. We are challenging ourselves and pushing ourselves to complete this in the 3 hours that is allowed and hopefully receive the goody bag, medal and raise lots of money for charity.

This will be a great struggle for us but nothing in comparison to the daily struggles that are faced in Palestine. We will be raising money for MAP

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees.MAP delivers health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation and displacement. Working in partnership with local health providers and hospitals, MAP addresses a wide range of health issues and challenges faced by the Palestinian people.
