Story

Well we've finally finished....yay! The trip was very enjoyable, we had a lot of cold days, one day of heavy rain but 3 beautiful sunny days in a row to finish off. We covered over 80 miles a day and ended up very tired. It wasn't a flawless trip as we both struggled through knee injuries but they were overcome, a breakdown of the support vehicle in Paris and then an accident on the second last day resulting in a broken clavicle, a trip in an ambulance to the hospital by David and a long, lonely and tiring ride for Tim at the end.

Thank you everyone who has donated so far. Every little bit helps these 2 fantastic charities.

Thank you also for those who supported and encouraged us along the way.

5 April 2010:

Time is drawing near now as we try to make final arrangements for this ride to happen on the 6th of May. A few things now need to be done to help support us along the way. One of these is a support vehicle such as a camper-van which will help ease 17 days of hard riding. If you are able to provide a camper-van/support vehicle from the 6th of May to the 22nd of May (even just part of the trip) please don't hesitate to contact us 01828 686 227 or email Tim and Dave at teamranch@live.co.uk

These are the companies we'd like to thank for supporting us so far:

Wheels Cycling Centre

Endura

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page to raise money for the Maggies Cancer Caring Centre and Teen Ranch Scotland.

We are raising for two charities through the one page, all the money that we raise will be split 50/50 and given to the charities when we finish the ride. We want to give both charities the same amount and having two pages there was no way to ensure that.

We will be cycling 2500km in 17days leaving from the Teen Ranch property just outside Dundee, Scotland on the 6th of May 2010 riding down to the Eiffel Tower and then turning around and riding back to finish up at the Maggies Cancer Caring Centre at Ninewells Hospital Dundee on the22nd of May. If you love to ride then you will be able to ride some legs with us. We hope that we can get loads of people to come for a ride with us on the last day and finish with us at the Maggies centre with a nice reception.

We hope you can help us in any way possible.

Thank you very much
