Story

Two years ago Steve's incredible mum, Beverley Rockey, sadly lost her battle with cancer having fought it so ferociously.

When nothing more could be done, Sidmouth Hospiscare offered the very best support and kindness to ensure Bev's last weeks with her family were special and that she was comfortable as she passed.

Sidmouth Hospiscare is a small organisation specifically caring for those with life threatening illnesses in the Sid Valley; a place which was very much home for Bev.

Having raised an astonishing £2,110 last year from our very kindhearted friends giving donations rather than wedding presents, we have decided to take on a crazy 100k trek of the Jurassic Coast in July 2018. Over two days, we will complete the Ultra Challenge - starting in Poole and finishing in Bridport.

We are conscious that it wasn't so long ago you gave so generously, therefore our target this time is small and we kindly ask that you support our efforts by donating what you can to Sidmouth Hospiscare.

To those who would normally buy me a birthday present, as I'm completing this over my birthday weekend, I would be delighted if you could donate to this cause instead.

It really would mean the world to us.

Emily and Steve xx
