Imperial College London is a global top ten university with a world-class reputation in science, engineering, business and medicine. Please note: the Schistosomiasis Control Initiative is now an independent charity. Imperial College London can no longer accept donations to SCI.

Story

Inspired by the Record Setter website to cycle the furthest any man or woman has ever cycled on a tandem bicycle with a skeleton on the back (pithy, isn't it? http://bit.ly/xdqgpj), Kadhim Shubber and his band of merry men will cycle over 800 miles from John O'Groats to Land's End; the entire length of the United Kingdom.

Along the way, we hope to raise over £10,000 in bursaries for Imperial College London students. The money we raise will go to the Rector's Scholarship Fund (http://bit.ly/xgakyP) and will help disadvantaged students afford university.
