Colchester Zoo cares passionately about the world's threatened species and so created its charity Action for the Wild. This supports and encourages conservation projects worldwide and in the last 5 years, over £500,000 has been donated by the charity to project worldwide.

Story

Hi,

Thank you for visiting the TOADS' fundraising page.

We are a group of Year 4 fathers from Tormead school who will be mountain biking from Coast to Coast (in England!), over the Lake District and the Pennines, to raise money for a fantastically good cause -  the Ethuleni community school in South Africa.  This is a school with whom Tormead (particularly the junior department) are building a relationship and is a school which the girls have been learning about during the year.  The children at the school are in real need of basic facilities that we take for granted.  Our aim is to raise money for a kitchen and maybe some sports equipment.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Colchester Zoo's Action for the Wild and the Ethuleni School, South Africa gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

The school desperately needs our help, so please sponsor us now!  Every little bit counts.

With thanks

The TOADS
