Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising pages.

Pictured is our nephew, Joe who whilst serving in Afghanistan with the Royal Marine Commandos received major blast injuries. He is currently undergoing intensive rehabilitation and although a very slow and painful process, he is on the road to recovery and his objective is to return to active duty.

Myself and Wendy recognise his and many others bravery, along with the need to support the Help for Heroes charity. We are currently going through our own pain barrier whilst training for the London Asics 10k Run and would be very grateful for your support and sponsorship.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Help for Heroes gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!
