If i'm honest I initially signed up to the wimbledon half marathon because I wanted all the running around in circles I do for 'fun' to seem like it had a goal... also with a baby on the way I thought I'd try and get a physical endeavour in before the dad-bod arrives.

It was pointed out that both these reasons were quite... er Tom centered. 

Tearfund are a great charity that do some fantastic work around the world. ?They also have staff who are close friends of mine and can pester me one on one to be more altruistic.)

The money you raise will help Tearfund to continue to follow Jesus where the need is greatest and bring lasting change in Nepal, and to people like Thuli Maya Syangtan, or Kalpana, who both are from the Makwanpur district. Both of these women and their family and friends were affected by the earthquake, and Tearfund's work is still continuing there today.
