THE AIM OF THIS WAS TO GIVE OUR CHILDREN THE BEST POSSIBLE SEVEN YEARS WITH US. WE AIM TO BE THE VERY BEST SCHOOL IN ALL AREAS. PLEASE SUPPORT OUR DREAM.

Story

On the 30th July we will be attempting the Three Peak challenge.

This involves climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell and Snowdon in 24 hours.

We are doing this to help raise funds for St Barts school and the Macmillan Nurses, if you would like to donate to our challenge then please do so on this site,

Also, everyone who donates is automatically added into a draw for £50 worth of vouchers valid on Food and Drink at the Mulberry Inn in Chiddingfold, this was kindly donated by Mark Evans, Executive Chef of Evans Pubs. So please remember to include your email address so we can contact you.

There are 6 climbers and 1 driver for this challenge including Abi Baker who has 3 children at this great school (Jessie, Jed and Fin).

Some information about the Challenge:

The National Three Peaks walk involves climbing the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales. These are Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis and Snowdon respectively. Different people will take different periods of time to do the 3 peaks. Those who are brave, noble, or just plain stupid, try to do all 3 within the space of 24 hours - The Three Peaks Challenge.

There is no official body, or definition of the Three Peaks Challenge. It is generally accepted that to complete the challenge you must ascend and descend all three peaks, and drive (or be driven) between them, within 24 hours. Mountain routes used vary, but generally involve:-

Ben Nevis: Tourist path, starting from the Youth Hostel in Glen Nevis.

Scafell Pike: Either the corridor route from Seathwaite or the steeper, shorter route from Wasdale Head.

Snowdon: Starting from the Youth Hostel in Llanberis Pass, the Pyg Track and Miners Track are the most popular routes.

The National Three Peaks Challenge driving route takes in around 800 kilometres (500 miles) of driving between mountains.
