Story

Introduction video: http://youtu.be/oTSEpUJuKVk

Tuesday evening, April’s sun is setting over Putney as the Pests saunter into their local convivial boozer–none other than the Golden Lion. A workman looks up from his pint disinterested, a dog licks its balls and a pensioner lets off a faintly audible fart. The interior is frankly disgusting; tattered furniture with smoke saturated upholstery, sticky faded carpets and the sort of atmosphere that you’d find in an unsuccessful accountant’s office. The steak and kidney looked like a pecan pie and the concrete cod was a scorpion poised to sting, don’t get us started on the pud. This, we thought, is where dreams are born. And indeed it was…

Luckily, the Champions League wasn’t being shown at the Golden Lion because they hadn’t paid their subscription fee, so the Pests got to talking. 3 hours and a whole lot of pints later we had a plan:

On June 4th, Charlie Prentice, Charlie Coombes, Mori Thomson, Ben Gentilli and Henry Stroud will attempt to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon within the space of 24 hours.

In preparation, the group will be attempting their own 'London Three Peaks' Challenge on April 22nd.

Through a special agreement with Cancer Research UK, the donations made to this page will help to fund the Imperial CRUK Centre.
