On the 10th July 2009 at 5pm, Team Avon will begin our ascent of Ben Nevis, the first of three peaks that we will attempt to climb within 24 hours.
The challenge itself will be to climb the highest peak in each of the three countries of mainland Britain within a 24 hour time period, including travel between them. The order in which we will be completing the challenge is as follows:
This isn't just a weekend stroll - this is 500 miles of driving, 25 miles walking, at pace, up and down three of the highest mountains in the land all in 24 hours.
