The Tiffin Boys' Choir, is touring Australia in July and August 2011, giving concerts in Brisbane, Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. One of the most well-known boys' choirs in the UK through its performances with the Royal Opera and the London orchestras and extensive discography for EMI and Chandos, its members all attend a state school - Tiffin School in Kingston upon Thames - and are aged between 11-18. In order for all the boys to be able to go on the tour, we need to raise £30,000, and this justgiving site records the progress of the fundraising, as well as offering the opportunity to donate online. The boys have been busy all year organising activities to reach this target - sponsored runs and swims, cake sales, gig nights, quiz evenings, close harmony appearances, trebles' discos, supermarket bag packing, car park manning, and much more besides.
