Hi all!
As a Cancer Research ambassador, and after 7 years of running 5k and 10k races - and my first half marathon last year - in aid of this fantastic charity, I'm very happy to have been awarded a place in the London Marathon 2015. Happy and terrified.
Someone you love has had cancer. It's everywhere. I had cancer, as many of you know - now 4 years in remission! - it makes you feel powerless, whether it's you experiencing it or you're watching someone go through it. All that we non-scientists can do is to keep raising money for vital research. Their work saved my life and will save countless others.
Please sponsor me as much as you can afford. I've got a pretty huge fundraising target and this may well be the only marathon I ever do! ( ...depending on how it goes....) but any donation, no matter how small, will be very welcome.
