Ladies and Gents

In February 2019 I opted to do TRIB3's 28 in 28 and this year I wanted to do a challenge that involved running. I was carrying an injury for most of 2019 and need a bit of a kick up the arse but also something I would find just as tough as last years challenge.

I've opted to do the RunUntilYouDrop Challenge.

The Challenge is that you will Run 1KM per that day of the Month.

01/02/2020 = 1KM

02/02/2020 = 2KM

03/02/2020 = 3KM

At first it appears quite easy but the challenge really kicks in after the first week.

I will be posting exactly what distance I am doing on what day and even though on some days it will be higher the challenge is to complete the minimum that day.

The Rules mean that you are not to have any rest days from the challenge and the rules DO ALLOW WALKING. So in order to protect my body I am going to have some strategic walking days. You are also allowed to split your day up just so long as the combined total is the minimum for that day.

My final days of the challenge are going to be spent in Amsterdam so these days will be quite high walking days.

Finally I have picked the Laila Milly Foundation as it is a wonderful Children's Charity based in Hemsworth. They only can continue their work if people like me and you fundraise or donate.

The Charity is extremely close to my heart as it was founded by one of my best friends following the passing of her beautiful little girl, Laila Milly.

If you have any spare change to donate it would be gladly appreciated.

Thank you xxxxx

About the charity

The Laila Milly Foundation was set up in 2010 by Maya & Steve McCormack after their daughter Laila was born with a rare neurological condition. Sadly Laila passed away a day before her 1st birthday. They set up a day respite centre in West Yorkshire to provide care for disabled children aged 0-5.
