Hard as many of you will find this to believe, I'm escaping the comforts of the settee and the wine bottle (well the settee anyway) for hours and hours of physical toil and extreme hard work and callouses....all in the name of charity !! The fact that I get the benefit of using a new secondhand boat is pure coincidence...honestly.

I know what you're thinking, Tim don't do it, consider the risks not only to your health but also to your physique, but I say to you...DON'T YOU THINK I HAVEN'T TRIED TO WEASLE MY WAY OUT THIS ALREADY !! It's no good, I've been trapped between the laudible truth  that everyone else in the club is having a go (shame in other words) and an irrefutable if imperinent fact which has been pointed out to me ie if there was anyone in the club who could genuinely benefit from some serious Ergo work it was me - damn it.

Broadland Boat Club is a small, friendly, welcoming club,  that is trying to do really good work on a shoe string budget and thoroughly deserves a little of my support.

So please hunt down the back of the sofa and ferret through your sock drawers and as Bob Geldof so eloquently put it "Give us your F..cking Money! If it helps, please remember with your generous support you are cheerfully inflicting upon me many , many hours of pain and despair...if that's not worth a few quid my wife doesn't know what is!
