YAY!!!! I did it, 2.6miles roller skating challenge

The 2.6 Challenge · 26 April 2020 ·
For those of you who don’t know, I work for a small charity called Link To Change as a specialist exploitation worker. A role which I am very passionate about.
I am doing a big shout out to ask my friends and family to support me on Sunday 26th April to raise much-needed funds for the charity I work for. I shall be roller skating 2.6 miles round my local streets. I have not put my skates on in at least 7 years so this will be a challenge in itself :-)
Link To Change are committed to being the experts in child exploitation using direct experience to advocate and support change
We achieve this by building engaging and trusted relationships with children young people and families professionals and the communities in which they live within. Providing a holistic and dynamic trauma informed support service around exploitation, be that sexually, criminally, online or in many other forms where there is imbalance of power between the victim and the perpetrator.
The work we do is vital in supporting these young people. Covid -19 only adds to the vulnerabilities of this group and their wider families and by continuing to work throughout this lock down period we are doing all we can to carry on supporting these young people through this and beyond.
Thank you 😊
