By the way, this walk, as it states on the link, its a Moonlight walk, so whilst you are tucked up in bed, I'll be walking 13 miles from Hutton to Preston and back again.  To make it even better, I'll be wearing a pink feather bower and getting my hair dyed pink for the occassion.

St Catherine’s is a specialist centre that provides palliative care for the people of Preston, Chorley, South Ribble and Longridge Hospice care is based on the principle of care for the whole person. We seek to create an environment which provides care for physical, emotional, spiritual and social needs where people can live their lives to the full.

Most of our patients are suffering from some form of cancer but we also help people with Motor Neurone Disease, advanced Multiple Sclerosis and other life threatening diseases.

Care is given unconditionally to those who need it irrespective of age, sex, race, religious belief or sexual orientation and is without charge. The Hospice caters for a variety of individual needs that we feel will contribute to a patient’s quality of life.
