What started off as an expedition up the Mournes for a select few elite athletes has escalated somewhat to number about 30. The Inaugural Tipp's Trek (see what I did there?) sponsored walk up Slieve Donard in aid of the amazing Down's and Proud charity will take place on Bank holiday weekend Sunday 24th August. A few people also participating in the walk have not been tagged on this post due to rather severe penalties for fraud/incapacity benefit issues here in the North. Here's to raising much needed funds for a really worthwhile charity. Wish us luck.
