The 2.6 Challenge is a simple and fun way for everyone to do their bit to help save the UKs charities.

Story

The Surrey Care Trust, like many other charities, has been hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic. In just one week alone, the charity lost £30,000 from the cancellation of fundraising events.

The charity has been supporting vulnerable and troubled young people and families for almost 40 years.  People who very often have no-where else to turn to help them to get their lives back on track because of poverty, family breakdown, addiction, domestic abuse or sometimes simply through a lack of education and skills.

Toby and Imogen are taking part in the 2.6 Challenge to raise money for the Trust.  The 2.6 Challenge is being organised by the people behind the London Marathon which should have taken place this Sunday 26 March.  The idea is to encourage people to dream up an activity based around the numbers 2.6 or 26 that suits their skills and complete it on, or from, Sunday April 26.

So this Sunday, Imogen will be completing 26 circuits of the garden each one of which will include shooting a goal in the netball hoop, one rally of badminton and a seat drop on the trampoline.  From Sunday, Toby will be using his exercise time to ride 26 miles on his bike.

Please could you donate to Toby and Imogen's fundraiser?
