Namaste friends,

We're team Tom, Serg & The 22gs, and this August we're leaving the luxuries of Dubai behind and strapping ourselves into a 7 horsepower glorified lawnmower for a chaotic Indian adventure. You see, we're taking part in the Rickshaw Run. 

Known by seasoned travellers to be the least sensible thing you can do in four-weeks, The Rickshaw Run sees nearly 100 teams embark on one of the most dangerous races in the world — all in the name of adventure and charity. 

In a nutshell, we're putting our lives on the line for a race that covers 3,500 kilometres across India's most beautiful and most dodgy corners. That's about the same distance from Dubai to Athens. But the trip isn't just about exotic curries, chai plantations, tigers and what-not, the reason we're doing it is to raise funds for War Child, a charity that goes to the ends of the Earth to protect children from the brutal effects of war and helps to rebuild their lives. 

Our hopelessly uncoordinated 3-man team consists of Conrad Theron, Philip Theron and best friend Kevin Conabree. We've teamed up with Tom & Serg Café in Dubai to undertake the most ambitious misadventure ever.
