The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Most of Tony's friends thought he was a little mad when he did the New York marathon in Nov 2000 to raise money for the 'WhizzKidz' charity, his sanity was again questioned when he abseiled down a tower block in central London for 'Help a London Child' in Dec 2001, they then thought he was going slightly more insane when he cycled across New Zealand last year to raise money for 'Guide Dogs for the Blind' (http://www.winyard.com/NZ.html), by now they KNOW that he is certifiable as once again he's getting on my bike, this time to cycle 270 miles across Cuba, once again to raise money for Guide Dogs. He'll be doing the trip with his cousin Dave Halpin.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Guide Dogs will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
