Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-limiting genetic condition affecting more than 10,000 people across the UK. It affects the lungs and digestive system and can cause chronic infections and reduced lung function. Currently, half of those with CF will not live past age 41.The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is fighting for a brighter future for people with CF and their families by funding cutting-edge research, driving up standards of care and supporting people with the condition and their loved ones every step of the way.

CF caused the death of my Uncle when he was just 9 years old and this fundraising effort is in his memory. 

A lot of people are saying we're idiots for doing this but we're still up for it! In aid of Cystic Fibrosis Trust, we are taking part in the 2018 Rickshaw Run! 100% of what we raise will be going to the charity.

On March 28th we will be flying out to Mumbai for a couple of days and then onto Kochi where the rally kicks off. From there we will be driving a 7 horsepower TukTuk 3000km to Jaisalmer.

If you've never ridden a Auto Rickshaw, they are uncomfortable at best and we will be driving it for 8 hours a day for 2.5 weeks... Yep.. mad.

The Rickshaw Run takes a different route through India every year and people from all over the world travel to take part in this 3000km rally through deserts, mountains and busy cities.
