We are the world’s largest charity dedicated to saving lives through research. Our vision is to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Cancer Research UK is a registered charity in England and Wales (1089464), Scotland (SC041666), the Isle of Man (1103) and Jersey (247).

Story

On the 30th of August 2013 the western region of Hamptons will see the greatest cycling spectacle the area has ever seen. "The Tour de western region of Hamptons". The great cause we are raising money for is Cancer Research UK, who undertake such valuable work in finding the cure for cancer. Incredibly they receive no government funding whatsoever, and rely totally on personal donations.

James and Sam both from Cheltenham, along with 5 non Hamptons friends; Luke Grundy, Joe Bawden, Frankie (Josh) Rogers, Sergui Phoursa and Dan Walker will all complete the 220mile (354km) route. We will visit every office in the region and are aiming to complete the route at an average speed of 15mph.

The route will start at the Banbury office and run through Deddington,Oxford,Cirencester,Marlborough,Bath,Bristol,Stroud,Painswick,Cheltenham and will finish in Broadway.

SWEEPSTAKE - Dan will have a calorie counter on his cycle computer. When making your donation please send an email to pagetts@hamptons-int.com and state how many calories you think he will burn during the Tour. The closest guess will win a bottle of Champagne!
