The staff here at Towy Castle are passionate about raising money for such a great cause. With 1 in 3 people living with Cancer the team here are often caring for a resident who is living with the illness, a resident who has recently been diagnosed or a resident who has fought the Cancer and is in remission.

Golau Cancer Foundation is in the Cancer Care unit it Singleton hospital which caters for people living in Bridgend, Swansea, Carmarthenshire up to Aberystwyth. Golau raises money to provide facilities, equipment, training and research beyond the normal scope of the NHS.

They also offer a free service at the Seaview Hostel for patients travelling a distance to receive Radiotherapy offering them a safe haven to rest with family and friends after treatment.

On the 20th May the team are giving up their Sunday morning to walk up Pen Y Fan to raise awareness but more importantly funds for such a fantastic cause.
