East Sussex WRAS was established as a voluntary group in 1996, but founder Trevor Weeks has been rescuing wildlife since 1985. The charity was set up to provide a front-line rescue & hospital service for people finding wildlife casualties as well as offering advice and information.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Running is my passion and Beachy Head is one of the toughest marathons out there. I see lots of wildlife on my runs and have encountered many injured animals either on The Downs or the beach who need help. East Sussex WRAS, our local wildlife charity,  are always on hand to take these animals in and nurse them back to health. They work tirelessly day and night carrying out rescues and caring for sick and injured animals. Without our support they would not be able to carry on their selfless work.
