Story

Thank you for visiting the Slaughter and May Trailwalker Challenge page.

Following last year's successful 24 Peaks Challenge, which raised £23,000 for VSO, Tim Pharoah and co. have enrolled in the Oxfam Trailwalker Challenge, their most misguided charity challenge yet and another opportunity to set aside excrutiating pain to walk. Hard.

Trailwalker began as a military training exercise for the elite Queen's Gurkha Signals Regiment and is now a charity event to raise money for Oxfam and the Gurkha Welfare Trust. The challenge is for each team of four to complete a 100km course across the South Downs  (equivalent to running two and a half marathons and climbing Ben Nevis and Mount Snowden).

Money donated will be split between Oxfam and the Gurkha welfare trust and further information can be found here:   http://www.oxfam.org.uk/trailwalker?intcmp=hp_column-1_trailwalker_310111 Please dig deep!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
