What are we doing?

We are trekking to the top of Mount Snowdon which is the highest mountain in Wales, at an elevation of 1,085 metres above sea level, and the highest point in the British Isles outside the Scottish Highlands. It is located in Snowdonia National Park.

Why are we doing this?

We are doing this trek to raise money for Orphans in Need (OiN). OiN is a UK charity that aims to create opportunities for orphans and widows after tragedy has come into their lives. OiN is currently supporting over 20,000 orphans and their families in 14 countries. OiN supports those who cannot provide for themselves, delivering sustainable, long-term solutions to those in need. We offer regular food parcels, cover fees for education and healthcare and support orphanages abroad.

Who will be doing the trek?

Rahil Baig, Fahad Burney, Faraz Siddiqui, Zeeshan Alvi, Fasih Khalili, Imran Khan, Atif Aijazi, Fahim Qureshi, Hammad Khan and Adnan Younus. 

When are we doing the trek? 

We will be climbing mount Snowdon on 15th June, 2019.

How much do we aim to raise and how will it be used?

We are aiming to raise £10,000 which will support 30 orphans for 1 full year. The money raised will support the orphans with:

 • Food • Shelter • Clothing • Clean Water and Sanitation • Education • Medical care • Loving care in a family oriented home or institution.
