Story

Hi!

Thanks for popping along to have a look at my page. There's no personal motivation for me to do this but I was touched by the thought of the children out there who are unhappy about losing their hair and I realised I could do something to help. I'm not particularly keen on cutting off my long hair - it's taken me years to get it this long! - but, as I keep telling myself, 'it will grow back' and the thought that it could help someone else far exceeds my need for long locks.

I could just donate my hair, but in true AB style - I don't do anything by halves - I've decided to do as much fundraising as I can for the Trust. So I've set up this page and I intend to do a raffle and a 'guess the weight of my hair' competition. Watch this space for information on how to take part!

Michelle at KB Salon (Fareham) is going to cut it for me (date tbc) so big thanks to her and the salon! I know my hair will be in very capable hands.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story, AB xx

PS This isn't #bravetheshave - I'm not that brave but I'm very attached to my long locks!
