Story
Hannah was a very good friend of ours and our family; we knew her through music, guiding and church.
When Hannah was just 17 years old she was diagnosed with cancer. Hannah fought her illness with bravery and dignity. She embraced life to the full and continued with all her activities with a smile for as long as she could.
During Hannah’s final few weeks of life she was supported by the wonderful nursing team from the Mary Ann Evans Hospice. The support they provided to her, her Mum and Dad, brother, and family and friends allowed Hannah to remain at home. They helped her Mum to provide the care she needed with love and dignity. Hannah’s Mum says she could not have managed or coped in those final weeks without them being there.
Hannah sadly lost her battle on the 1st September 2013 aged 21.
We now want to support the Mary Ann Evans Hospice to continue their work caring for patients in their own homes as a thank you for all they did for Hannah and her family.
We have therefore decided to undertake a skydive to raise funds for the Mary Ann Evans Hospice. We will be jumping at 1pm on Sunday 14th June 2015 at Skydive Hibaldstow, North Linconshire (www.skydiving.co.uk).
Thank you in advance for your support and sponsorship!
