More than this though, thank you for acknowledging the need to raise awareness of this silent killer and honouring the memory of my mam, Sheena Stephenson, who sadly died on Remembrance Sunday 2015, and supporting my dear friend Deboarah Davidson, who is staring down a terminal diagnosis.

I have written this book as my way of raising awareness, educating and providing support to those who are battling with this cruel disease.   In this way, I hope to help more women to understand the symptoms and seek medical advice at the earliest opportunity.
