Story
10 staff across The Wine Society are doing the 3 National Peaks challenge in June and raising money for three charities, one of them being The Benevolent.
Sadie Calderon, Simon Gatley, Dave Collins, Mike Green, Lesley Clark, Ben Briffett, Mahesh Bharwaney, Nicky Glennon, Carl Andrew and Peter Harris are the ones to take on this challenge with Ewan Murray and Tom Wain as the support team (and drivers!).
On the 24th June at 5pm we shall begin the highest of three mountains, Ben Nevis. After an overnight drive to Cumbria, we shall start the steepest mountain Scafell Pike at sunrise. The last, Snowdon, we shall finish off that afternoon - completing all three within 24 hours.
Why The Benevolent?
The Wine society supports The Benevolent, a drinks trade charity. The Benevolent provides vital support to colleagues from the UK drinks industry who are facing serious illness, disability or a personal or family crisis.
Many thanks for your support, every penny counts. Your support will keep us going during the 24 hours.
If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to Gift Aid your donation. That way the Benevolent get 25% extra on top of your donation from the Government but at no extra cost to you.
