Thanks for visiting my Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) Everest 2009 fundraising page!

Thanks again for all the support and donations!  Based on the tremendous response, I am increasing my goal.

My flights are booked and I am focusing on finding the right gear and getting my body ready - thanks again for all the support!

Accenture (my company) has been partnering with VSO since 1999 and has raised over $1.5 million for education projects in Africa and Nepal.

When I learned of this opportunity to raise money and visit Nepal in March, 2009; I was in!  This once in a lifetime trip will take me from the comfort of the States half way around the world to work in a Nepalese school in Bhaktapur (see map below); on to the Mount Everest Base Camp; and finally the summit of Kala Pattar (18,200 feet).

All donated money supports the VSO education effort in Nepal.  I am paying my way over (lots of frequent flyer miles) and travel expenses for the month long trip.  Please help support my fundraising goal listed above!
