Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.  All of the money raised on this page is in the memory of the late Jimmy Wilson. Jimmy was diagnosed with cancer in November last year and after only 3 short weeks passed away surrounded by his family at the Macmillan Unit at Antrim. Jimmy's family although devastated by his sudden death have come together in his memory to raise much needed funds for Macmillan and the unit where Jimmy received such fantastic care and attention.

Jimmy was an integral part of the Ulster Grand Prix team for many years-working as an Incident Officer. Jimmy was also a very active member of the Dundrod and District Motorcycle Club and this year they have chosen to support Macmillan as their official charity for the race week.  Along with collections throughout the week there will be 3 World Record Attempts to mark the last 3 weeks in Jimmy's life. 2 of these attempts will take place on Friday 10th August and are: "Most hot dogs made in 1 minute" and "Most cups of tea made in an hour".

There will be a 3rd World Record attempt on Saturday 11th August during the race "Fastest Motorcycle".

We hope that the public and all motorcycle fans will get behind us for these record attempts and hlp us make World Record History!

Follow Geoff Wilson on Twitter for further updates on these record attempts at @geoffwnjwilson.
