Story

Jai Shri Krishna and thank you for taking the time to read this.

We lost a truly remarkable person on 13th February 2023, Umesh Mistry at the age of 41, after a long health battle. He suffered from a condition called Lymphoedema since his early twenties and we sadly lost him in the early hours of Monday morning. He had the support from his family and friends but moreover, he had the willpower to live life and perform lifelong sewa for others.

He was cared for by St. Catherine’s Hospice, Preston, who helped to ease his pain, provide aid and make his condition manageable. There is no cure for lymphoedema, however, the work St. Catherine’s offer, provides people with an improved quality of life.

We thank the Hospice and the nurses support that they’ve given to Umesh over the years and hope that funding can make an impact on the lives of others who suffer from this condition.
